Winning Films 2016

In 2016 we wanted to have a fun festival and we certainly enjoyed ourselves! We had the fabulous Duke Johnson as our special guest as well as a cool group of visitors from the UK!! ‘Joining Dots’ directed by Fiona Ryan, from the National Film School, IADT won the Graduate/Student Film Award and the Audience Choice Award was won by Sean Cunningham, the Irish School of Animation, BCFE.

The festival in 2016 also awarded the ‘Spirit of 1916’ award to Naomi O’Reilly for the film ‘Granite and Chalk’ and the ‘Best Irish’ film was won by Stephen Fagan of Treehouse Republic!

A Big thank you to everyone who submitted their films – we look forward to viewing the 2017 entries!
