Festival sponsors

Here is some information about our lovely Sponsors!

Blackrock Cellar

Back in 2012, the Festival organisers were trying to get sponsorship for the awards ceremony. Joel Durand had recently taken over an off-licence on the Main Street and re-named ‘Blackrock Cellar’. When Joel Durand and his fabulous wife Katia were asked if they could become sponsors, the answer was a resounding YES! (We didn’t know that Joel was a fan of animation!)

For the last five years Joel and his team have sponsored the drinks party we hold before the DAFF awards. The support from him and his team has always been beyond generous. We were delighted that Blackrock Cellar won Off-Licence of the Year in 2017 – it was well over-due!!

You can find out more about Blackrock Cellar here and Joel’s story here.
