Getting Here

DUBLIN TRANSPORT

The DART is one of the easiest ways to get to Dún Laoghaire. You can also hop on the 46A bus (made famous by the song ‘Summer in Dublin’ by Bagatelle). You can also reach it on the 75, 7A and 7 buses which are the most frequent. You can view the Dublin Bus timetable by clicking here.

Iarnróid Eireann (Irish Rail) operates the DART – the Dublin Area Rapid Transit electrical train. The DART station to stop at is Dún Laoghaire and the station is only a few minutes’ walk from the dlr LexIcon.

Dún Laoghaire doesn’t yet operate the ‘Park and Ride’ scheme yet – but we will let you know when it is possible to take public bicycle from the City Centre to Dún Laoghaire! (Applause to anyone who is brave enough and fit enough to attempt that cycle!)

Newsflash – there have been a number of discussions about changes to the public routes – we will keep you updated about any changes!
